Rose Festival

As well as showcasing a dazzlingly diverse selection of rose-themed products (cakes, chocolate, cordials, sorbets, jams, floral arrangements, candles, embroidery, cosmetics, perfumes and soaps), the two-day festival will feature a marzipan modelling workshop and demonstrations from various craftsmen and women, including wood turners, weavers and artisan brewers. A series of live music performances are also been planned.

The festival programme will also feature a contest to find the prettiest window box as well as a photo and artwork contest. To round off the programme, festival-goers will be able to take a walking tour around 13 raised rose beds.
