From April to early November, Canton Fribourg is facilitating access to places that are not usually open to the public.
Medieval fortifications, towers and enclosures are being made accessible from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day between the months of April and November. The aim of this campaign is to highlight the importance of our common cultural heritage.
The sites involved in this region include the keep of Chenaux Castle in Estavayer-le-Lac, the ruins of Montagny-les-Monts Castle and the Molière Tower in Murist, all of which reveal all the richness of their history and their breathtaking views
Opening period: 4th June to 31st October 2018
Opening hours: every day from 9am to 7pm
Price: Free admission
Access to the keep: take the Chemin du Château, cross the drawbridge, the donjon’s door is on your left
Parking: Rue du Château (free 2 hours), Amarante (unlimited, 5 minutes on foot)
