Rural Broye on bike
The Medieval town with a rich architecture and history.
Moudon - Cremin - Lucens - Moudon
The starting point for this trail through the heart of the Broye countryside is the medieval town of Moudon. Passing through the picturesque market town of Lucens, the route overhangs the banks of the River Broye back to Moudon. On your return, spend some time exploring the Haute-Ville, the medieval citadel perched high above the new town of Moudon.
Highlight: The château de Lucens situated in the heart of the eponymous village was the former home of Adrian Conan Doyle, who turned part of it into a museum dedicated to his famous father and creator of the world-renowned Sherlock Holmes.
